On my way to my last visit with Dr. Gardner, while my husband was driving, I was reading through posts for that day on my Facebook page. Not coincidentally, my sister had posted the attached encouragement picture that morning. Interestingly, I thought of Dr. Gardner since the picture refers to God as The Gardener; although spelled differently than Dr. Gardner’s name, the principal is much the same. I have gone through quite a process physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually during the past two years. The “Gardener” is why I am still here and The “Gardener” ordained my steps for me to be treated by Dr. “Gardner” and his staff.

I mentioned this to Dr. Gardner while I was there and wanted to share this with him, Minty, and staff. Dr. Gardner has been my physical pruner and in other ways, part of my spiritual pruning as well.

While I am at it, THANK YOU to Dr. Gardner and everyone in his office and on his surgical team. I am grateful beyond words for everyone of you and how I am treated by you all.

Each day is a gift and to treat it any less than that is a waste of what can be.

I have two scriptures which I have quoted many, many times during this journey: “I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.” And “TODAY is the day the Lord has made, I WILL be GLAD and REJOICE in it!”

Have a great day. Enjoy each moment.
