I met Dr. Gardner and his team over 6 years ago on July 9, 2012 after being diagnosed with invasive, aggressive breast cancer. A friend at my employment recommended him. Dr. Gardner and his staff are skilled, experienced, and compassionate. I am a two time breast cancer survivor, Stage 3. I decided to make an appointment to discuss surgical options. From the day I met Dr. Gardner I knew without a doubt he would be my surgeon. I had so many questions and many decisions to make all concerning my life. Dr. Gardner was very patient with me, knowledable, and direct. I have always felt comforatable, safe, and 100% satisfied with all procedures he has performed. I had a bi-lateral mastectomy with no lymph node involvement, reconstruction, chemotherapy, and Herceptin treatment in 2012, I was cancer free. Thankfully, I listened to Dr. Gardner because I trusted him and kept all follow up appointments. As time marched on, I began to see him and his staff every three months. I live almost 100 miles away, the distance did not matter. Eighteen months after chemotherapy ended, in April 2014, during a follow up appointment, Dr, Gardner and Dr. Gardner’s assistant, Minty found cancer in lympnodes during an ultrasound. I did not have the fear I initially had back in 2012, because I knew without a doubt I was in the best hands I could be in. I had surgery again, a lymphadenectomy, with Dr. Gardner as my surgeon. Since then, more than four years later, I remain cancer free. I always say experience is the best teacher and certainly, Dr. Gardner is experiended! His staff have always been professional, friendly, compassionate, and thorough. I am forever grateful. My daughter and many friends now see Dr. Gardner and his staff routinely and are very satisfied like me!

After a year of research, I chose Dr. Gardner because of reviews and expertise in the breast and breast cancer field. I have a long family history of cancer and my own previous cancer. My decision was made after a BRCA2 mutation was found. From the first phone call, and visit, you can tell this office really cares for their patients. Dr. Gardner, Minty, Patti and everyone in this office are truly amazing. The compassion and time they give are so rare these days. You are not just another patient, they make you feel like you are the only patient. With my anxiety, I went to the office with no appointment and the staff and Dr. Gardner talked to me and relaxed me with my fears. Minty even gave me a hug 🙂 Today is my profalactic bilateral mastectomy and I feel so confident I am in the best hands with the greatest team behind me. You will not find a better team. Thank you all !!

After completing my Breast cancer treatment, in 2013 it was time to retire. I then began to ask about breast surgeons of neighbors and Dr Gardner was highly recommended. When I arrived in the office I felt like I was at home. The ultrasound tech was king and caring and did her best to relax me. Dr Gardner started our conversation with “you may be in Florida, but you have a New York surgeon. They were both thorough, compassionate and caring. It is now 3 years later and after 6 month visits for the last 3 years I have completed my fifth year. Ongoing I wouldn’t miss going back every 6 months. Visit today, you will be glad you did.

Dr. Gardner has been my doctor since October, 2008, when I had an abnormal mammogram and a friend recommended him saying he was the best breast surgeon in Palm Beach County. I found that to be absolutely true. Unlike many breast surgeons, who once they cut and put you back together, refer you to an oncologist and are done with you, he and his staff have followed me ever since with regular ultrasounds and mammograms. After over 9 years being cancer free, a few weeks ago my annual mammogram revealed several micro calcifications which were not visible on the ultrasound, and had to be removed surgically since I had a mastectomy and reconstruction several years ago. This was very delicate surgery and once again everyone in the office went the extra yard to put my mind at ease and make things go smoothly. From Minty doing the markings and working with the Breast Center to get additional mammograms three more times, Patti getting my surgery scheduled on an expedited basis, and, of course, Dr. Gardner and his hands of gold. I have to also mention Paula Green, his nurse practitioner, who is always available to answer my questions, and knowing how nervous I was about the biopsy report, made the special effort to get the report as soon as it was available and call me immediately with the good news...everything benign. Everyone in the office is very caring, and treat all the patients as part of their family. Thank You!!!

Dr. Gardner and the entire staff are the best professional, caring, loving people in a medical setting that anyone could ever encounter. Dr. Gardner is knowledgeable and has the best bedside manners. Words can not described the love and respect that I have for Dr. Gardner and his staff who helped me through one of my most difficult time in my life with such compassion. Thank you for everything you all do, thank you really. You guys are awesome. If you ever need me to speak to a patient who has to go through a double mastectomy like myself and put them at ease, I will gladly do it.

Dr Garnder and his staff are wonderful and compassionate. I have never been treated so well as a patient. They take the time to explain all your treatment choices and answer questions multiple times. The best part is they schedule so there is not a lot of waiting in office or hospital. I felt like a person not a number!

I have been a patient for over 10 years. I have seen both, Dr Gardner and the nurse practitioner Paula. They are both great, very professional, always talk to me through every procedure explaining everything that they do. The ultrasound tech Misty is also very professional, knowledgeable, she also explains everything to me, makes me feel comfortable. The front desk is also very professional, greets me by my name, they always call me to remind me of my appointments. I highly recommend this facility. They do ultrasound and biopsy onsite, which is very convenient.

The entire staff is wonderful! They make you feel more like family than a patient. I've been a patient for over 10 years. Cheryl from the front desk is warm and friendly and always quick to return calls. Patti in scheduling is delightful! Minty the Ultrasound Tech is so caring and thorough and actually found my stage 1 breast cancer which was only a few millimeters in size. Paula, ARNP is fabulous! Agata in the front office keeps things flowing smoothly and is very easy and wonderful to interact with. Last, but not least, Dr. Gardner is without question the most caring, sweet, thoughtful, patient, compassionate and amazing human being I've ever had the pleasure of working with professionally as a Nurse in surgery and as a patient. Being diagnosed with any cancer is devastating, however the staff and Dr. Gardner made the process so much easier for me and my family. I LOVE you all!

It has been a year since I was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer, stage 3. I thank God that I was sent by my obgyn to Dr. Gardner. You will not find a more caring, compassionate and skilled group. Minty went deep and found the smaller lump in my left breast. Paula helped me with my drains and even ran over to the hospital to get my records one day. Patty helped me with resources and scheduling. Cheryl helped me tie my headscarf.. . 🙂 And Dr. Gardner. He put his hand on my arm as I lay there on the exam table. He listened to me. He advised me. When it came time for surgery he honored my wish to go "flat" and sewed me up snugly and elegantly. He brought my saints icons into the operating room for me. I wish everyone with breast cancer could be served with such love. This is the way it should be when you go to see your Doctor. I am eternally grateful. May God reward them all!

When I first learned I had an advanced breast cancer, I was overwhelmed. I was referred to Dr. Gardner by several local doctors and another from Boston. It was the best thing that has happened and I am grateful to them all. From the first meeting, Dr. Gardner took time to explain the depth of my condition and to make my care a priority. His office and entire staff put me at ease and held my hand through the next weeks of prep, surgery and recovery. If a modified radical mastectomy can be called "a breeze", this was a breeze because of all of them. Now, 6 months later, my surgery is a memory, chemo is almost over and I am well on my way to recovery and more thankful than I can say. In fact, during a recent visit, Dr. Roberts looked at a toe that was bothering me, made some calls and saved that toe too!! He truly cares for the whole patient, and the patient's family. I thank God each day that He put Dr. Gardner in my life when I truly needed him and I know he will always be there for me.

I have been in the care of Dr. Gardner for 11 years. I am an occupational therapist performing Home Health visits to many mastectomy and Breast Care patients and many years ago was exposed to his wonderful care provided to my patients. At that time I knew that I would need his direction as my mother had breast cancer and I told myself when I needed consultation and care he would be my doctor. WORDS cannot begin to describe the level of knowledge, professionalism, and caring. for every aspect of my needs. His quest for Innovative care and cutting edge technique are beyond description. The team in his office exemplifies attention to detail, expediency, professionalism, and keen awareness of emotional needs. it feels like a warm and friendly family in every aspect of care.. I know that I have found the best possible care with Dr. Gardner and his incredible team and this is also the opinion of many of my patients.

Dr. Gardner is the best and his entire staff is amazing!! Just over 3 years ago, I had my first visit to Dr. Gardner. I had never been to any Dr./specialist where the entire team was so supportive and caring!!! I have been through a lot since then and seen them all many times throughout the years. The staff has not changed and everyone there has been wonderful to me. Dr. Gardner takes time with all of his patients and gets to know them. He truly cares! He explains everything and discusses many options. The same goes for Cheryl, Minty, Agata, Paula, and Patty! I've been through a lot and I'm happy with the outcome.

On my way to my last visit with Dr. Gardner, while my husband was driving, I was reading through posts for that day on my Facebook page. Not coincidentally, my sister had posted the attached encouragement picture that morning. Interestingly, I thought of Dr. Gardner since the picture refers to God as The Gardener; although spelled differently than Dr. Gardner's name, the principal is much the same. I have gone through quite a process physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually during the past two years. The "Gardener" is why I am still here and The "Gardener" ordained my steps for me to be treated by Dr. "Gardner" and his staff.

I mentioned this to Dr. Gardner while I was there and wanted to share this with him, Minty, and staff. Dr. Gardner has been my physical pruner and in other ways, part of my spiritual pruning as well.

While I am at it, THANK YOU to Dr. Gardner and everyone in his office and on his surgical team. I am grateful beyond words for everyone of you and how I am treated by you all.

Each day is a gift and to treat it any less than that is a waste of what can be.

I have two scriptures which I have quoted many, many times during this journey: "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me." And "TODAY is the day the Lord has made, I WILL be GLAD and REJOICE in it!"

Have a great day. Enjoy each moment.

I cannot thank you all enough for the wonderful care and attention I received from all of you, both in the office and the hospital. I do know you are all a bunch of angels!! My case was not typical and I'm sure it was stressful for all of you, but your great knowledge and expertise brought me through. God truly blessed me when He sent me to you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will certainly recommend you to everyone!

Dr. Gardner's practice is a pleasant throwback to the times when doctors had patients instead of customers. Both Dr. Gardner and his staff treat you with what he calls the three "C"s: Competence, Caring and Compassion - and this is the most important a doctor can give you in your time of need. They go above and beyond duty (and expectations) to help you, to make you feel better. If you need a doctor in his field, don't look further - and if you need someone in another field, I hope you find someone like him.

    Dear Dr. Gardner,
A little note to express my appreciation to you and your precious staff. You have made bilateral mastectomy a very smooth and tolerable experience. You are a very fine doctor with a warm and caring manner. Your staff has been most attentive and professional in every possible way, right down to assisting in scheduling appointments to accommodate the distance we travel. Again, thank you and may God bless you and your staff.

I met Dr. Gardner and staff today as it was my first visit to the clinic. I was very impressed with the level of care and the office atmosphere. I was also happy with my initial conversation with Shirley who was very organized and informative in regards to preparing for my first visit. I just looked at your website which I enjoyed as well and appreciated all of the current medical information available. I am happy to make this my new home for all of my breast health care. I will gladly share my experience with other female friends.
    Thank you, Rosemary R.
